Unable to paste text copied in akelpad into Virtualbox VM

There there. Thus, as title says. For some reason I am unable to paste text copied in akelpad on Windows host PC into Virtualbox VM (Linux in my case).

I can paste copied text from akelpad on Windows host PC into VM only once, and from second time text can't be pasted in VM. Virtualbox bidirectional clipboard is working fine 100%: with any other apps evrithing working fine (wordpad, MS word, notepad, chrome, etc).

Firstly I thought that it may be some plugiin, so I downloaded clean akelpad distribution. Still no result.

Any thoughts, clues where to dig, how to fix the problem?
