Option to treat \r and \n differently

Post by akel145 »

Is there a way to make AkelPad treat \r and \n differently the way most text editors do (i.e. \r\n is one line not two)?

I have many regex patterns saved within self-made step-by-step guides and I would like not to have to keep two version one for AkelPad and one for the other text editors.

The \x## method would put me in the same bind (having to duplicate the guides/steps).

Thank you. :)

AkelHelp-Eng.htm wrote:\n Matches any newline. To match Unix newline character use '\x0a'.
\r Matches any newline. To match Mac newline character use '\x0d'.

Unfortunately, this won't help my case.

As I said:

AkelPad is very customizable; so I thought there is probably a way to do that.

Thanks.
