What does "RichEdit mouse selection" do?

How to use it?

For example: I double clicks left mouse button and word selected, then I release mouse left button and then clicks again in another place. If option ON word will be selected if option OFF selection will be to clicked char.

Instructor forgot to say that you need to have the Shift key pressed!
