One more thing I found: My new computer is having issues with sleep mode. Often when it comes back from sleep, I discover that some apps like WhatsApp and Unigram have been misteriously closed. I probably need to re-install some driver. In any case, I stopped putting the computer to sleep when I'm away, and all of problems went away, including AkelPad's.

Good research
