Restore open tabs (files) on relaunch (like Chrome)

I use AkelPad for very long time. I really like tabs

I would like on option.

If I for e.g. close AkelPad that has file1, file2 and file3 open. I would like that on relaunch AkelPad opens file1, file2 and file3.

I remember that I tried this plugin before few years and it didn't work. I found the solution. Default setting can't work on Win 7+. This setting needs to be checked for auto-save to work: (Application data directory, open on start, save on exit)

Croatoan: it works for me on W7SP1x64.
Probably there's some issue with your user's rights in the system.
I run AkelPad from a custom path, so if you are using it in some default dir like 'Program Files' - it's a special dir in the system and writing to there probably requires administrator rights, while you probably run AkelPad as a user.

It's installed in default dir (Program Files). Yes, writing in this dir requires admin rights.

I am interested why plugin dev didn't set "Application data directory" as default option.
