In every word processor or editor I've ever used "Ctrl + Right" places the cursor at the beginning of the next word. AkelPad places the cursor after the last character of the current word. Is this by design? Is there a way to change this?

For me it works as you have described: places the cursor at the beginning of the next word.
Check if it is not 3rd party's fault.

Thank you Infocatcher. My AkelPad.ini file showed WordBreak=9. I changed it to 111 and all is well.

I registered in this forum a couple of days ago, have asked several questions and received courteous and almost instantaneous help. Most impressive! Having great fun tweaking a wonderful program!
