Hi author,
I am in China , so I use "936 ansi/oem simplified chinese"as my default codepage.

When I open "65001 utf-8"code page textfiles,AKELPAD can autodect it.
While I open "950 ansi/oem traditional.chinese.big5" textfiles,AKELPAD CAN NOT autodect it ,So I have to select the right codepage manually.

Of course, the author is not Chinese ,may you not encounter this problem.

You can reopen file in requered codepage by pressing F12 or right mouse button on codepage in status bar. Or through open file dialog.
