Input method doesn't work correctly in 4.0x

I have tried both 4.0.3 and 4.0.6 these days, When I open a new page and type with my Chinese input method, the bug happens.
I have tried 3 different Chinese input methods program in it, generally the input panel should follow the cursor, but in 4.0x only one input method program works correctly, the 2nd one cant follow the cursor on the first row, and the 3rd totally cant follow. But all they work fine in 3.6.0.

AkelEdit doesn't do anything with IME, default window procedure do the job. Can you write what IME programs are you using?

I cannot also input in-line with Japanese language.
I am using AkelPad version 4.0.7, Windows Vista Home Premium SP1, and Microsoft IME for Japanese.
Probably, you can test to input an Asian language with English version windows by the following method.
Type in Chinese, Japanese, and other character-based languages

Finally I installed Asian Language support on my system.

Tested. This is JJ 5.0.1 "bug" - for some reason if caret client Y-position is zero, then input panel located in wrong place.
realnabarl wrote:...the 3rd totally cant follow...
Can you share it?

It works well !!
Thank you so much for making revision.

I wrote "input in-line" in the meaning of a operation which is inputting character using IME at AkelPad's cursor position.
Correct sentences might become "I cannot input characters at in-line position.".
I am writing in poor English.

See 4.1.4 release
character is now shown at correct position but input sysyem don't work properly
for example if type three korean characters like "한글과"
ver 3.x encoded "C7D1 B1DB B0FA" and displayed "한글과" correctely
but ver 4.14 is "C7D1 B1DC B0FA" and displayed "한긁과"
i don't test whether ver 4.13 works properly but as far as I can remember such a problem was not happened
where can i find 4.13 version?
thanks

korean input system don't match one charcter to one keystroke but matches one character to 2-5 keystroke
if only one charcter is completed as "글" it works properly but succeding characters as "한글과" it don't
attention to current character influences previous character
here are alphabetic keyes of "한글과"
"한" <GKS> "글" <RMF> "과" <RHK>
i think that it's somewhat difficult to test korean language for you....
ps> how can i compile source code, i met "AkelEdit.rc is not a valid animated cursor/icon RIFF file" error message in vs2003
