AkelPad

Hello,

I think the reason why Akelpad tends to freeze upon close is because of a conflict with my backup program trying to access the file. Normally, editing applications will lock a file and the backup program will use VSS to copy it. Does anyone konw if Akelpad locks files, and if not, is there a chance that Instructor / Aleksander might consider adding this ability? It is relevant in the sense that it can prevent data loss, as Akelpad freezes upon Exit/Safe attempt.

What is the backup program being used?
What are the exact symptoms of AkelPad being "frozen"? (Is it a delay of a few seconds or more? Does it happen always or sometimes?)
Have you experienced data loss caused by this "freezing"?
