Occasional crashes

Hello,
I have seen occasional crashes. For example today I simply scrolled upwards and it crashed. Would it be possibly to offer the latest version as a debug version also? Or better, integrated a debug log feature into AkelPad as a default? I would like to find the reason(s) for the crashes.

Or you can run AP from within NTSD
Or WinDbg
AP not used to be built(and published) with Debug info. As it happens crashes are easier reproduce, or guilty 3rd party(scrip or plugin).
Since you know what is Debug version, then you can build Debug version AP and plugins(add few well known compiler and linking flags into available build script). Any available MS Compiler will be good.

Instructor, it would be great if you did a quick write-up for people who want to send you crash reports. What do you need and what should be done? I am willing to help as much as I can!

SaFeTyPe, you not need code, You need just build debug version.
Or, whenever AP crashes with famous "Send report to Microsoft", you can instead report that info here.
If crash is stable reproducible, it is enough to write here reproduction steps+give us your configuration(A lot of crashes were fixed this way here).

Did you try latest test version of AkelPad? (
http://akelpad.sourceforge.net/files/AkelPad.zip )
Also do you use latest versions of the plugins?

Open scripts dialog (Plugins... -> Scripts::Main) and see running scripts. Probably some script cause your crashes.
