Windows 10 drag & drop file doesn't work

Hi!
I've just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (both x64), but if I drag & drop a file into an already open instance of AkelPad, it does nothing!
I am sure it worked in Windows 7, since it was my preferred method to open files.
My user is in the Administrator group and I have disabled UAC.
Any idea?
