Native Linux Port?

Hello,
I read that it is possible to run in wine, however I was wondering if it will ever be possible to run natively on Linux? This would be very nice

No, this editor is pure for Windows. There is no reason to create Linux version, because there are already a lot of other editors with similar/wider functionality(for instance Kate). (And it is impossible, because architecture made so it bond to WIN32). So if you want, you should use wine, but there is no guarantee all plugins will work.
