Bookmarks also are saved in registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Akelsoft\AkelPad\Recent.
Settings: Main menu -> Options -> Settings -> Registry -> Recent files -> Amount of files.

Thanks. Should have mentioned that I run portable, so I have enabled INI instead of registry.
But they don't get stored in Akelpad.ini - that was the first place I checked up on them.
OnExit.session seems to work fine, though. I see them in there, so I am confident to not lose them again.

Maybe it should be mentioned somewhere, in some documentation. It's a bit awkward to lose your bookmarks. As a newbie you blame yourself first of all, and when the problem persists it makes AkelPad look buggy.

"Recent files" and "Search history" are always saved in the registry, not in .INI file.

Interesting. And good to know. Although it's not strictly portable, in the sense of "leave no tracks behind"

So this means that I get to see my bookmarks as long as the file does not drop out of RecentFiles. When it does drop from the recent list, then it loses my bookmarks, right?

). Надо для пользователей сборки 2 пункта меню: "сделать мега-супер портативной" и вернуть обратно эту мега-супер портативность.

Если меняли опции Customize your download, то имеет смысл выложить шрифт или проверить на другой системе.
