(Most) AP scripts do not even start under wine

I am using AP, current version, 32 bit, under wine, 3.17. This is the same directory tree that works flawlessly under my Windows 7 install (I am dual-booting).

Most scripts (.js files), which all work perfectly well under Windows, do not work under AP/wine. However, some (simple) scripts do work, so the scripting DLL is found, starts up and can find the script files.

Obviously, wine is not Windows :-) and I am not looking for an immediate bugfix. There are already some posts on the wine website re this problem, but so far nobody seems to have found a workaround.

Anyone run into this?
