I've noticed, that, when opening a previous file again in a next session, at least the latest cursor position and word wrap enabling are recalled.
So this has to be saved somewhere when closing, with every single file.
Is this done in the Win registry or somewhere else? I like to know, because I prefer to avoid the registry as much as possible. |

| If you are using Sessions plugin then *.session files are saved in "{AkelPad}\AkelFiles\Plugs\Sessions\" directory. |

Yes, but I am not using the Sessions plugin. Recent file names and caret position settings are saved in the Registry.

To make Akelpad portable:
Change "Options->Settings...->Advanced (1)->Save settings->INI file".
To totally exclude registry access:
Set "Options->Settings...->General->Recent files" to zero.
Set "Options->Settings...->General->Search history" to zero. |

| Great. Some details are maybe lost, but I don't care. I prefer excluding the registry. |
