I've been using aklepad for a while now, cool editor, love the plugins.

But i can seem to find an option to set a global plugin directory..

for instance i have replace notepad in my window folder and my system 32 folder, xp sp2 btw, but only have the plugin in my system32 dir therefore if any batch or program calls notepad from the windows dir it reports it cant find plugins.

Ok i know it would be easy to copy plugin dir where needed. but this makes it impractical to maintain. i also use it on my usb drive. and have wired and wonderful batch files set up.

If you want to replace notepad, use installer (AkelPad-3.3.8-setup.exe) with this option and then you will need the only one plugins directory - in Windows\System32.
