Windows version? Each version store that in different places. You should use Control Panel to setup this.
In control panel or administrative UI search for something like "Default programs" and protocols https and http to be handled by your portable version of firefox.
*And portable Firefox can register itself also, where is the problem?

FirefoxPortable.exe is not firefox.exe
You can try make portable with tmemutil.dll, dependentlibs.list, tmemutil.ini.

In this case you need to register it as default browser using a program called 'RegisterFirefoxPortable'.shazza wrote:Not working.I have portable version Mozilla....must something change in registry...l
That's the right way, because this way links opened from other programs will get handled properly as well, not just an AkelPad solution.
