Whether it is possible to add background image, texture or transparency?

Idea was inspired by TextMate (best source code editor in Mac-world) and distortion-free editors, such as OmmWriter, CreaWriter and Marave.

I googled some days and came to a conclusion that PC-world have no editor with such feature (except Marave, but it is Pythonic, beta and Linux-only).

Transparency you can get using the script transparency.js by FeyFre.
