|
|
Hi,
First time posting here
I'm also a new user and trying to find my way around in AkelPad.
My first impression is that for its size it's an excellent application.
I use it in portable mode and was just wondering how to remove entries
on the Plugins Menu (Menu bar > Plugins)
Even plugins that are neither installed nor used are listed there.
Is there a way to remove those entries to reduce unnecessary clutter?
Where are the settings stored for these entries?
As to location of stored entries: Where are entries stored for Recent files?
I'm not talking about going to File > Recent files ,but rather where this info is stored.
Sofar as I can see they're not in Akelpad.ini
Thanks for any info regarding this.
Pete.

Thanks very much for your quick response.

Using this method I can remove the sub menu items ,but it doesn't seem to work on a main entry ,
eg like Programming (just picking the first one on the Plugins menu.)
As to location of recent files ,yes ,the info in your link resolved that question.
Thanks again.

But this doesn't matter, because after settings dialog is opened you can add/remove anything, including submenus. |

Hi Instructor.
You wrote:

You're absolutely right of course.
Once I understood the rationale of the entries in the editor, including having
to remove opening- and closing brackets and SEPARATOR for a main entry,
it works as you described.
Sorry for my ignorance, but like I said ,I'm new to this
Thanks again.
Pete.
PS I marked this topic as Resolved. |
