In the main menu is "split window" option - the window is divided into 4 parts.
I miss the options "split window vertically" and "split window horizontally" (Command(4213) and Command(4214)).
Can this be added in next version AkelPad?

See also - User Manual - on this topic. Yes, selecting "split window" creates 4 panes, but only a simple double-click reduces this to 2 panes, horizontal or vertical.

I understand. You can do this:
1. complete rewrite the main menu using ContextMenu plugin or
2. select from the menu "Split window" and double click on the border to reduce it to two panels or
3. add icons to the toolbar using ToolBar plugin.
But the novice user will not know how to do it.
Therefore, I propose to put these options in the standard main menu.
