1:
Double-clicking a tab will close it.
Is there an option to disable this?
2:
Switch tabs: Next-Previous / Right-Left.
But no matter which I choose, it always performs Next-Previous.
Is there anything else I should check?

Thank you for "TabOptionsMDI".
Please let me know if my understanding is correct about this:
Right-Left means that when I close a tab, the Left tab will be activated, rather than the Previous tab.
I cleared the registry entry and emptied the folder. Ran it with only AkelPad.exe. But I still didn't get what I expected. So I'm thinking if I misunderstood about the two commands.Instructor wrote:2. Not reproduced. Can you send/upload AkelPad folder?

All current shortcuts/hotkeys are listed in the User's Manual (the CHM one, Appendix C), but I might be unclear as to what you are trying to do.nthnbstwrt wrote:Is there any shortcut keys for minimizing/maximizing the tabs?
AkelPad runs only in two modes - SDI (single document) and MDI (or PMDI, multiple documents, tabbed mode). In SDI mode, documents are minimized/maximized with the application. In PMDI mode, individual documents are opened in tabs, but as simulated windows. When AkelPad is put into MDI (true Windows multiple document interface), then (and only then) can individual documents be minimized or maximized within the confines of AkelPad's client area (or tab control), etc. If there are any Windows shortcuts (i.e. accelerator keys) for individual files in the MDI, I don't know, but they would likely be applicable to all tabs, or maybe just the tab with the focus.
Unless you know of (or can find) keys which operate on the documents' minimize/maximize buttons, you will have to use those buttons for now.
