when the AkelPad open txt files which bigger than 4 MB ,it will cast more than 5 seconds !

but the 3.08 version only casts more or less 1 second

and the 2.x verison's AkelPad faster than the 3.x ones , but the 2.x version can't use plugins

ok ,i rebulid the ini file,it more faster

but you can test bigger files ,such as files about 30 MB. it slower than the old version

and you should open wrap words

I'm testing 50Mb file. If you are using wrap words, you can try to turn off custom delimiters: "Options->Settings...->Advanced(1)->Word delimiters". Also it is important to make speed tests with caret at the end of file (open file first time, set caret to the end of file, exit and open file again).

3.40 verison close "Remember caret position" and "Remember code page" to make sure open the file like the first time open it.

and all open "Wrap words",same setting,not use plugins
