Там просто такие страшные diff-ы у файла AkelDLL.h, боюсь не съехало бы что-то. Особенно последний (1269).
ЗЫ
там опечатка, строка 313:
+#define FIS_TABSTOPASSPACES 2 //BOOL)FRAMEINFO.dwData - insert tabulation as spaces.

Поставил эту версию вместо старой 3.3.8 при запуске стала матерится не та версия Russian.dll, пока регился у вас чтоб задать вопрос удалил Russian.dll из ветки
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Akelsoft\AkelPad\Options

теперь все замечательно, редактор оч.нравится
