Feature Request :Add Context Menu on minimized Akelpad icon

Post by DiggerP »

Hello instructor

Would it be possible to add a right-click context menu to AkelPad's icon
when minimized to Tray or Taskbar?

When minimized to tray ,just basic would be helpful ,like
Restore, Recent files and Exit.

When minimized to Taskbar ,possibly Recent files as well.

Hope you will consider it.
Thanks in advance.

Pete.

Something like I suggested, beginning with this message.
I hope that someday will be done.

Hi VladSh

Thanks ,yes you sent me to the right page :)
Unfortunately most of it I can't read, but what's in English I can,
including another request by ringyver
I'd like to see an extra option where you can choose if you want to use minimize OR close to send the program to the tray.
which is exactly what I would like to see as well :)

Hope it's being considered.

Use Google Translate (RU -> EN), most of us use them: http://translate.google.com/?sa=N&hl=ru&q=#ru|en|

,
Yes I tried that later, but it often results in broken English and while it conveys the gist of the answer,
in many cases the true meaning may not come through.
It can make for difficult reading depending on the language source and destination.

Nevertheless , I got the idea that my particular request has been covered before for the most part.
In a sense it's surprising that this hasn't been implemented yet ,because
windows forms and procedures are laid out for all those items.

Not being a programmer myself ,I don't know how to implement the code.

@ Instructor
Thanks very much for the update on this and also for
all the other updates. They put a lot of extra convenience in AkelPad :)

Looks like you've been very busy to put all the pieces in place :)

I would've responded earlier ,but didn't get notification from forum,
although I have the box ticked to be notified of reply on thread.

Thanks again,

Pete.
