Hi.
Thank you for akelpad.
I installed akelpad v4.5.3 (x64) on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and tried to open a 5.56GB txt file.
The txt file seemed to successfully open as the progress bar went to 100% green and then went gray.
However, pressing Ctrl+F or trying to click on any of the menu items did not bring up the menus.
At this time, my Physical Memory was at 96% where akelpad.exe was taking up around 7GB of memory. I have 8GB of RAM.
Any ideas?

Recommended size of memory should be at least in three times larger than open file. So openning 5.5Gb file with 8Gb RAM can cause some lack of system resources. |
